Hadis Fard ( xel ) is a human being, and a plant ally, living, and creating in ancestral land of Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and Shishálh nations. She is a multidimensional artist, AV composer, and poet using sound, music, geometry, and code to create multi sensory experiences and bridge art x tech. Hadis’ muses are rooted in eco-feminine, mythology, spirituality, and collective consciousness. She has performed and exhibited in various festivals and venues locally and internationally, and her works have been acknowledged by Canada Council of Arts. Hadis’ purpose and community service is to live by the earth oriented practices within communities and bring integrated authentic feminine voice in areas less heard, she finds community in diversity.
We're grateful to collaborate and produce on the shared, stolen, unceded, ancestral and traditional territories of Penelakut, Lamalcha, Hwitslum and other Hul’qumi’num speaking peoples, as well as the ceded territories of Tsawwassen First Nation, on what is now known as Galiano Island, British Columbia.
